The Christmas lights are beautiful. The haunted hay ride is not the scariest but for adults but for families it is perfect. When I was a kid it scared the crap out of me. They don't offer military discounts on anything which I think is crap being that a lot of their sales come from the military families out of Camp Lejeune. Honestly it has become a bit too overrated in the recent years and you have to wait for hours for both seating to eat no reservations and for the hay ride. We put our name on the waiting list and were told it was a 3 hour wait. We went to see the animals that they had on premises and got in line for the hay ride. After waiting in line for an hour and a half they called our name for dinner. The food was delicious! Desserts were banana pudding, cheesecake and chocolate cake.
